Anyone ever have a rifle rebored? I'm kinda thinking about punching my .308 to .338 federal.

Given the risks involved and cost for about 10% more you can get a brand new pac-nor barrel so unless its sentimental I think  I would go that route vs rebarrel - but I have never rebarrelled yet.  Have some sentimental guns I might consider though.

for $250 i can't see how you could go wrong.  a rebarrel job from pac-nor will set you back at least $600-700.  i have a mid 70s .243 that i never shoot, the thing feels like it weighs about 10lbs with its "standard" weight barrel.  been kicking around the idea of turning it into a .358 winchester.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
