The opener was a sucess. My buddies son scored his first deer and you couldn't get the grin off with a belt sander  :tup: Two of the four of us tagged out. It was a great weekend all the way around. I'm one of the other two that still get to hunt. Here's a few pics.

Never seen bucks hung from a basalt rock before, thats an interesting way to do it.

LOL yep thats all we had. The best thing about it is, as sunny and warm as it was for the opener. That spot never sees daylight.
