Here is a picture of my a buck my daughter shot a few years ago here in Washington.  Its 28 and 1/2 inches wide.  It is really hard to judge them until they hit the ground and you get a tape on them.

Bone, I think you need to sneak on up to wherever that little guy is sleeping and shoot him so we can end this wild and crazy assessment you have taxed all us poor hunters with!!!!  The proof is in the puddin!!!!!!  Better yet, maybe you could sneak up on him while he is taking his afternoon siesta and measure him while he snoozes!!!!  This will make you the master of all monster bucks in my book!!!! The only true 30" frame I've seen in the field. Picture was taken 20+ years ago from a fly in trip in Idaho.

Looks like he has big ears and they are flat out. Widest tines tip out, I have a wide buck at 31' similar but I do not thinke he quite makes it. Going with 29".By the way great pictures Bone!
