Where did Cameron Hanes go?

i just started reading his backcountry bow hunting book  and  from what i have read in that its hard to think of him hunting out of a tree stand

He often hunts Blacktails out of a tree stand. It is actually pretty effective (from what I hear, I haven't done it yet).
