If I couldn't talk Charlie into it I'd be going to Philip Soucy. :twocents:

Some awesome looking cats in this thread. It is very rare to find a taxidermist that can correctly mount a big cat.

Phil soucy is the cat man! There are other guys that do nice cats. One of the things to getting a nice cat mount is to have a nice cat that has great hair. Hair is one of the keys to a great cat, some cats are just nicer looking than others. We would also do you a nice cat. To tell you that  I’m as good at cats as phil won’t happen. No one else should tell you that either,  he has earned his respect and is a great guy. Good luck to you no matter who you choose.

A friend of mine has a bunch of cats from all over the world and all of them have been done by Soucy.  They are so realistic that they can scare the crap out of you if you are not prepared.   :chuckle:

his price tag shows it as well. I believe the saying you get what you pay for. I've seen some of your cats at the sportsman show and they look great. I went with Ric shirrod because I have seen he does a great job with them and he is close to where I live. I think an average guy on an average budget will get just what he's looking for from several taxidermists on this site. At probably a 2k savings. :twocents:
