Nightmare or Dream come True?
« on: September 15, 2018, 07:07:23 PM »
As a boy I remember being confused after watching Walt Disney's "Bambi".
The fact that here I was growing up in a Family of Hunters and my dream of taking the perfect Buck was being challenged by the "Sacred Cow" propaganda in the flims plot.
After reaching the ripe old age of 14 years (when the State of Washington determined I was old enough to carry a shotgun by myself) I finally figured out the difference between a cartoon and real life. In the long run was able to follow the Dream of getting that Big Buck in my sights.

Bambi, have a snickers, you're grouchy and act like a big stag when you're a black tail. :chuckle:

Man I gotta say, the pictures you dredge up for every thread are always entertaining

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Thanks Jonathan_S,
It's fun to remember the traditions and yet sad to see how we have lost some to the past.
