Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Following along.

I don't know about passing a 160" deer.  You never know if the biggest deer you are going to see shows itself opening morning or in the last hour of the last day.

Good luck to them and I hope they find what they are looking for.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I hear ya. I was probably supporting a very surprised look when we drove away from that buck. But after 17 years of applying partners niether of them wanted it to end that early :o

I remember the last time they drew that tag, they shot bucks early and right afterwards the snows came along with the big bucks! Good job waiting guys!

I applaud them for being able to stick to their guns.  I did the same thing with my archery elk tag and I have no regrets eating the tag.

I'm pulling for them to get it done or at least have an epic hunt with no regrets.

I have never been a believer of the saying " don't pass on a buck the first day that you would shoot on the last day "

I have had many 4 day hunts where I pass on 20 or 30 bucks and shoot the first buck on last day.
The mountains are calling and I must go

I hate that saying! Makes no sense.

No blood yet! Just heard from my brother seeing lots of bucks just nothing worth pulling the trigger yet! They've got a couple areas that have some giant tracks they are gonna be keeping an eye on.

Ok I can’t be that guy that starts a thread and doesn’t follow up with it. After many days looking for “that buck “my brother and his buddy tagged out just before the end of the season.
