Learning new things every day, didn't know that river had Sturgeon.... Hmmmmmm, is it accessible by boat? Might have to see about exploring there, one heck of lot closer and something new...
do ya do anygood in the daytime,
yeah thats what i hear too. jaunary to march is the best time to fish i guess. sence they arent netting...from what i hear anyway.
you take the devinshire rd exit just past monty take a right at the end of the ramp then take the right over the bridge and follow that look for the sign to friends landing.the boat ramp is a nice ramp. but you will need 4x4 on a low tide its very very muddy and deep on a low tide. i catch fish on the chehalis everytime i go its very good fishing. if you have the right bait.
[i guess its just a tide game. best is incoming high/slack tide. BUT to be honest we didnt get a single bite till outgoing tide. it was like they were migrating down the river and all the sudden we were getting hit good for about 3 hours. then it just turned off till incoming tide. and once the water for to about the same level as when i got mine earlier they started biting again.
i got the snohomish river system figured out...at least in my mind. i know all the slots, and deep holes, and which areas are better then others. i just need to figure out someone to get out with lolalso the huge key in getting fish in the snoho, stilly is the learn to fish the mouth in the salt. thats the big trick i guess. as for the chehalis...i know the secret bait ill sell the secret for 1billion dollars.
a 38.25 at the fork would still be at least 42 at the tail.. same size fish
Let's see some pic's always up for some Sturgeon pictures.....

My sons at Bonneville Dam this afternoon on the way home from Portland. Couldn't get the little guy to look at the camera, mesmerized by the fish...
Cool, will have to visit there for sure next time I am down there, which will be soon and many times....
