Finally got my cat back from the taxidermist but totally worth the wait. Not a standard form mount. Rick at cedar river had a picture of a live cougar sitting like this and asked if he could position mine the same way. I said yes and boy am I glad I did. I absolutely love it. In person it looks alive. You can even see the green glimmer in the eyes when you get up close and the light hits it just right.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

Cats are tricky and Rick @cedarriver does amazing work. These photos look great but in person this cat is amazing. The detail, texture and depth of the mount brings it to life.
