I’ve been thinking about one of their pro Varmint stocks.
I didn’t want a chassis. Wink wink.
Ok so I’m the proud owner of one of these stocks now. Wondering if you guys who have them went with the removable mag conversion setup or just stick with the drop floor plate?

Have you broken the tab on the magazine follower to get an extra round in yet?

I got the mag stuff Thursday and just put it together last night. To be totally honest I don’t even own a single round of 308 ammo yet. Picked up this rifle a couple months ago on a “can’t walk away from it” type deal.
If you were closer I’d pull mine off and loan it to ya jackelope. I actually really like the stock but will be selling it sometime this next year when my manners comes in. I believe (but may be wrong) that the hunter 700 stock has the same grip angle as ar15 rifles.
"It's heavy." LOL I have a VTR that currently has a Choate Ultimate Sniper, 6 lbs. I am switching to the MAGPUL as soon as possible. MAGPUL seems to have bridge the gap between expensive chassis and plain stocks and give you the option of switching to a magazine setup for a lot less.

It’s not that heavy, but it’s heavier than I’d want to strap to my backpack.
A 26 pound rifle? Is the stock made of bricks?
