Anyone have room for one more, sometime this season?
« on: December 13, 2017, 01:23:00 PM »
Hi all,
I am new to WA. I moved to Orting in July. I lived in Colorado for 20 years before relocating to WA. I hunted geese in CO for 17 years. I am trying to figure it all out here in WA and could use some people to hunt with as I figure it out. I can call and help setup decoys. Pretty much whatever if someone is willing to take me under their wing if you will ha! Hope you all are having a great season. Stay safe and make a pile.

What kind of decoys you got for geese. Honkers or Snows?

I don't have any decoys here yet. Just my calls and the passion to chase honkers.

Ill see if and when I have an open spot. Was up north chasing snows last weekend. ended up with 6 from public fields. Go t WDFW and get your goose identification test for zone 2

OK I will get that done this week. Snows are tough, at least you got some.

You guys got lucky last year with all the wind storms.  With the crops and locations the KWH fields actually held birds last season.  You are experiencing a typically season for those locations this year.
