Can anyone help me identify what animal makes this sound?

A friend recorded this outside his bedroom window near Sultan the other night and we can't figure out what it is. Any ideas are appreciated.

my speakers are total crap, but it sounds like an owl.

Owl, I have one that's been showing up about this time of year for the last few years. I've heard that sound along with some other pretty crazy sounding screams and hoots

I had a 2,600 pound Black Simmental bull with a set that almost hit the ground that was higher pitched than that.  :chuckle:
