Nice clean break. I noticed it added a little more pre travel after adding the new spring but its miniumal and worth it

Did load development on one chambered in 300 wsm last weekend. Six shots to find pressure and then backed off a grain.

Pretty full case of 4831 pushing a 190 vld shot at 167 yards. Always work up your loads

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Put one in the nephews xbolt with the same result. 2 1/2-2 3/4 pull with a bit of pre & over travel. Much better than stock and way cheaper than a replacement. If triggertech made one for it I would go that route. Nicest trigger I've used.

My Hells canyon LR is sitting waiting to be picked up since mid last week and wont make it there til next Sunday, the wait is killing me! Trying to decide between the Leupy VX3i in 4.5x14x50 with the CDS or going with the NF SHV in 4x14x56. Any of you have any experience or recommendations on either scope?

I own, shoot and love both leupold and NF.  My only thought with the NF....if you are going 4-14, you might as well do the 5-20......You won't regret it.  I love my 5-20 shv.

I went with the Leupold VX-5HD with the wind plex reticle and CDS2. I looked hard at the SHV that you are looking at but they aren't considered waterproof as soon as that top cap comes off.

Took the rifle out for the first time yesterday.  Went through the break in process, then started shooting 5 shot groups of different loads to see what it liked.  I cleaned between each 5 shot group and usually had one slightly out of the group.   Now it’s time fine tune a load and start getting some trigger time.

Overall I really like the rifle and the factory trigger is great.

Yes.  I would have the flyer on the start of each 5 shot group after the cleaning.  Groups tightened up as the day went on and I cleaned less frequently.   It really groups multiple loads well.  I finished the day with a total round count of 65.

All of the pictures are rotated due to the way they uploaded from my phone, so that is actually a vertical string.  We did have a decent amount of crosswind at times, but I was still able to get some decent groups.

i ended up going with the NF 4-14-56 and man is that thing clear! only problem is i ordered my rings before the scope and got mediums and with going to the larger objective they arent tall enough :bash:. so i have Highs on the way, killing me to look at this thing and not be able to go shoot! I went with the Talleys as they make them in the cerakote to match the barrel.
