Am I dumb to say 3-blade Muzzy 100 grain?
Is it a great “meat and potatoes” broadhead or should I be spending more on broadheads because mo money equals mo dead critters, better blood trails, etc?
I've been shooting muzzy broadheads my entire hunting career. That's not as long as many people on here but that's 20 years. 19 blacktails have fallen to them and none have gone further than 30 yards before keeling over. 3 blade 100 gr muzzy! Hell my blacktail this year didn't even make it 15 yards from where I poked her in the heart and its the same broadhead and arrow I shot my deer with last year and will use again next year lol! I do like the look of the Rads though. Might get a buddy of mine to try them.

I like to use grim reaper 1 3/4" razor tips for deer, and Hades for elk. I put two of each in my quiver and a g5 small game head in case of  the off chance I find a rabbit out grouse.

Sent from my LG-K425 using Tapatalk

Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

Not the G5 montecs. Two years in a row with bad blood trails to follow. They do the job but I like a better exit wound that spews blood. Shot muzzys for years with great blood trails but might try the slick tricks this year on a recommendation from Denton at Rock Creek archery.

The montecs fly really noisy as well. Might have just got a bad batch as others like them but I won't shoot them again.

Same issue with montecs last year and bad or NO blood trails. I shot a deer with great placement and no blood trail and my son did the same with no blood trail to speak of we found his deer by pure luck. Went back to shuttle t's the last elk I shot with one it looked like somebody poured a blood trail out of a bucket! Rad stuff sounds interesting I might check those out as well but I am hunting this year with shuttle ts again

I have been using thunderheads for the past 6 years but have been looking to switching to the Ironwill outfitters heads, just trying to decide on the solid 125g or the 100g vented but leaning towards the 100g since I have always shot 100g heads.
