Any leupold dealers on here or best place to buy?
« on: December 17, 2017, 03:25:25 PM »
Will be purchasing a vx scope in the next month or 2. Anyone have a place or person that can do better than the leupold website?

Check Predator Optics and Optics planet, the first two that came to mind, also CameraLand.
Also, there's a good chance that someone on the forum is a dealer/FFL.

Check with carpsniperg2. Something tells me he is or was a Leupold dealer.

Visards guns and ammo typically has the cheapest prices unless one of the big stores has a super sale going on

Opticsplanet, then look for a coupon.  I called a couple local places to price match and they couldn’t touch the price.

On a side note, I really like the new cds zl2 turrets.  Check them out if you’re looking for that type of scope.

I couldn’t find a better price than Optics Planet when I bought a VX6 last year.

If you're a hunter ed instructor or know someone who is, Leupold gives a pretty hefty discount on their products.

I am indeed a FFL and a deal in leupolds. I am a tiny shop and sometimes I can beat the big box stores. Sometimes I cannot. They have much more buying power and pay way less then I do. So they can sell for less. I am very happy to look if you send me the details on the scope you are wanting. A lot of the times my initial price is better but when I add in the sales tax, its hard to beat some online/big store prices.

Thanks. I'll source one out after the holidays.
I do not know an instructor but that is a pretty serious discount.

The hunter education instructor discount is 50% off MSRP. So it's not half of what you would pay but still a great discount. Often you can find prices almost as good on eBay.

Leupy also has a pretty good discount program for military and vets IIRC.
