Has anybody had much success hunting the Vancouver lake area for ducks or geese? I usually hunt some private land which I do very well at but I'm curious to know how good the public land is at Vancouver lake. I went there today to walk around and just scout with my binoculars and I did see some geese flying and some coots in flooded fields. I saw hundreds of geese by frenchmens bar in a field that you cannot hunt. There were no hunters out today which was really weird. I want to try hunting geese here but it doesn't look like they are landing on public land. Maybe I need to scout better
