2018 archery Elk opener?

Son needs to put in for vacation. Anyone have an idea of the date for 2018 archery elk? I was thinking sept. 8th. as last year it was the 2nd Sat. of sept. Thoughts???

That's a good guess but at this point, nobody knows. They set the seasons three years at a time, and this time they will be setting the 2018 to 2020 seasons. Preliminary dates will probably be available sometime in February.

It's the first Saturday after Labor day. 2018 is the 8th 2019 7th 2020 the 12th. It has been this way for years.

I just put in for my vacation and did Sept 8th to the 21st.
