Rem 700 switch barrel????
« on: January 05, 2018, 07:58:29 PM »
I'm wanting to make my rifle a switch barrel. Convert to "savage barrel nut" type. Don't really want to change cal as much as being able to do barrel swaps my self.  I know black hole weaponry used to sell this kit and barrels but I can't seam to find them anymore.

Any insight on the subject is very much appreciated!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Can’t remember the guys name who runs it but he is sharp and will set you up with what you need. They offer a lot of option on the barrels they carry as well.
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

I would start here he has been doing these for a long time and very helpful.

Does seem kinda silly I've got 5 different rifles in the safe whose only significant difference is their barrel/chamber.   One super quality stock - action - trigger - scope and then just screw in a different barrel and maybe bolt change would be cool if accuracy was there.

Pac-Nor has been doing them for some time. Pre-fits with the nut or just the barrel nut itself.
