I was a little off. To keep on the in crowd here🤡. You need a Tikka, Toyota TRD and a pile of Sitka Camo. If you can get the rifle and TRD in Sitka camo it's a plus. It will get you 100 fps more on your Tikka, no matter the chambering and 3.576 more miles per gallon on your TRD! Owning a Tikka also helps your google searches by 50%! So you sound half A$$ informed when googling questions here and posting google results as a reply. Some have a huge post count in the "Google" department.

While this isn't by any means a fact. It could be seriously debated by anyone with the slightest amount of observation skills or real work experience.

I've adjusted all mt 700s down to about 3 lbs, but they are all older models, before the trigger issues they have had recently.  it took a while to balance the weight, travel and creep, but once it's right, it's a decent trigger for hunting.

I have no experience with the newer triggers in the 700s.

All ribbing aside. If you have a older 700 trigger, this is how I have adjusted them for the last 18 or so years.
