You have three clubs / ranges not too far away. All have walk through ranges open to members year around and also put on 3d shoots. Kitsap Archers near Bremerton has the (arguably) best range layout, but Flint Tip in Black Diamond and Tacoma Sportsmens club are nice too. Check the various websites for shoot schedules. If you want just shoot for fun then typically 3d shoots are less crowded by mid afternoon. Mornings can be stacked up making folks feel more pressured to shoot quickly -not good for fun or consistency for beginners.

Cedar River Bowmen is in Enumclaw. 40+ acres and 100.00 for a family to join for the year. Don’t be intimidated about being a beginner. They are all about having fun. Let me know if you are interested in looking around. Happy to take you in.

Flint Tip Archers in Enumclaw has a 2 day shoot coming in mid Feb. For a beginner this 3D shoot is a good one . They are mostly a Trad Club and the shots are reasonable and the crowds are small. There are a couple challenging shots but it's a good shoot. If your looking for a club to shoot at it's hard to beat Cedar River Bowmen , great walk thru courses and a lot of days you'll have the place to yourself .

Skookum Archery in Puyallup has a pretty good walk through course (A -D) and every Thursday in the summer they setup 3D targets to shoot. Club has a friendly competition every Saturday in February and march. I haven't been to any other ranges.....

Since 1984 I have never been to a 3D shoot that did not support a archer or the family. Some of the best times we as a family have had shooting was when we shot a New to us 3D shoot. Take a few pictures of the family shooting and do not worry about the score card.
