Family Hunt Club/Royal hunt club???
« on: December 30, 2017, 11:15:30 AM »
Looking for input on these. Is Royal still doing a hunt club? ive searched the archives and everything was old. I am mostly a upland hunter but will jump shoot ducks and i am not set up for geese. I live on the westside and am looking for an opppurtunity to hunt birds on land i dont have to share with 15 other hunters or hunt planted birds. Any input on these 2 clubs would be greatly appreciated.

FHC had a booth at the sportsman show last week.

Royal has pen raised birds and there is generally people at all of the release sites, at least on the weekends. I didn't have the permit this last season so I can't speak to its current status but that is how it has been.

:yeah: if you are looking for fewer people FHC might not be your best option

Biggest complaint I always heard about the FHC was that the main ramrod would always get the first pick.  Along with the A group that were his buddies.  Goes would drive over and get a field that the main guy may have pounded with his group the day before for geese or ducks.  You might be in better shape for upland.  But the waterfowl hunters always ended up frustrated once they figured out what was happening.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
