Those new 4runners look pretty cool. One of my favorites for sure. Congratulations on your new vehicle.

It is a TRD off road Premium, every option. sticker on window was 41K, nobody pays sticker price. Last Chev pick up I bought sticker was 49K and it was just an average equipped gas truck. Just filled up for the first time, 270 miles, 13.5 gallons=  20MPG

Are those 4runners still running the 4.0 liter V6? I have that engine in my Tacoma it's got a lot of power. They switched engines for the new Tacoma though

Have they re-geared them yet or are they still running on the same 5 speed transmission designed in the early 1990's?

We have a 2015 sr5 and love it.  Doesn't matter the style of driving it gets 20 mpg.  Amazing rigs..... congrats on a great vehicle.

I can't say if the new ones are the same, but at least until a few years ago the 4.0 was backed up with a sealed 5-speed automatic. Autos used on the previous 3.4 were 4-speeds.

IMO best looking SUV on the market. Seen a new black 4Runner in Walmarts parking lot last Sunday morning. It was all blacked out, black aftermarket bumpers, black roof rack, black wheels, it was awesome and beautiful.

They are solid rides - here's a bit of advice, if the back wiper stops working out of the blue, roll the back window all the way down and back up.  The wiper will then work again.  This happened on my wife's 14 and I almost lost my mind  :chuckle: - it's a know glitch on these rigs.
