I'd stick to the Savage, I've got one in .223/20 gauge it's a great little gun, in fact it was my 1st real gun not counting BB guns.  My Dad bought it from my uncle for $75, you just don't find deals on guns like that anymore.

i have the savage in .22/20 gauge. it makes for a good grouse/squirrel gun. i saw one of the remington guns for sale in a bellevue gun shop the other day. didn't look at it closely but a neat looking gun.

CZ is importing an Combo Rifle/Shotgun under the BRNO lable.

http://www.cz-usa.com/product_detail.php?id=102

Heym and Zoli and a few other German and Italian gun makers also produce them.

Winchester (101) and Browning (Superposed) were availible in rifle/shotgun combos.

Tika and Valmet used to import them also.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.
