I'm gonna get one for the rear bumper of my travel traileradd a bolt on receiver and move the spare, no more coolers and generators inside on the floorand yes a good cable and padlock also

Just a difference of 50 to 100# is a lot back their typically. Doesn't hurt to try just be on the lookout for it. Depends how your tanks are loaded also - might work full/empty but not vice versa.
I was kinda thinking of it as a tail gate, I sit on my truck tail gate all the time, or up on the tool box.Carl
I also have a steel version. And I also use it primarily for hunting trips. It can hold a lot of weight and makes a good step up when I take my little truck camper and leave it on the truck. It's really nice for a humongous cooler full of ice. Makes it a little easier to remove when you get to camp.MadMax,Just an FYI. I was going to do the same with my travel trailer but the dealer strongly advised against it. Apparently those bumpers aren't really built to handle a lot of cantilevered weight. At least that's what he claimed. I haven't consulted the manufacturer yet.

I use one for hunting/camping. My woods vehicle is a Hummer H3, and the thing has been a lifesaver.I've had two cow elk on mine....... and they don't fit in my H3.Basic Harbor Freight steel cheapee....
