Any opinions on this scope?  Cabelas has a sale on the 3-9x40mm, looks promising

Burris offers 50% discount to Hunter Ed teachers. Just FYI. You can buy up to one scope/optic, and one mounting system per year.

I looked at one yesterday

I was looking for a budget scope on a 22-250 and I looked at 3 and bought the Vortex and here is the order I liked. INHO

#1  Vortex Diamondback    199.00

#2  Leuplod American Marksman    150.00

#3  Burris E1    150.00

The mountains are calling and I must go

That's a great scope and a great price. I'm tempted to order one at that price. I have an older Burris 3-9x40 and it's been great. The newer Fullfields are even better.
