One more +1, the Kilo2k gets it done.  I have used mine from 6yrs to 1380yrds.  The latter by hand in the snow, so the units have the speed and power to get it done even in less than optimal conditions.

Does it do the angle compensation for shooting up or down hill?

Yes, but on long range stuff I would use the linear range and angle display mod to plug those into a computer. For bow, it does that shoots like mode out to whatever distance you can manage to range.

I've got the 2400.... 4-2400 yards no issues. 2400 needs to be good conditions though. less than 2000 no issues of any kind other than hand shake...

And lets be honest... who ranges inside 15 yards  :chuckle:
