Ducks, with the camera
« on: January 03, 2018, 08:03:31 PM »
I went out with the camera hunting ducks today. Watched a pair of bashful mallards preening. I'm not the greatest duck whisperer, but I think this pair started with a drake seeking attention, not sure it was working, finally getting "the" look from the hen and then both of them a little embarrassed. Yeah, I read waaay too much into duck expressions.
Disappointments are inevitable, misery is optional.

I've had a few DSLRs over the years, Canon and Nikon. Currently I'm using a Nikon and a Tamron 150 to 600 zoom. I enjoy getting out and photographing animals and landscapes, people not so much ......... my wife says I'm too much of a curmudgeon for people pics.
