Defensive edge 3 port
« on: June 07, 2019, 05:26:09 PM »
I'm having a de 3port brake installed and was wondering if I can have it turned down to diameter of my barrel safely? Brake is .750 and barrel is .67 diameter.

Yes it will work. All DE brakes come in blank form and need to be fitted by a smith. They will need to be reamed to diameter, faced, indexed and tapered to the barrel. As stated on there website.
Losing is natures' way of saying you suck.

I went to gunsmith today and he had it installed. The part I didn't like the looks of was the brake is .75 inches and has an abrupt taper to the barrel which is .67 inches. Instead of a long taper I was wondering if the brake could be turned down to .67 all the way to end. I tried contacting defensive edge but are out of office until next week. Just thought I'd see if anyone on here has done it.
