All those elk tracks in the road below them it looks like they are honed in on the scent in hunt mode.

Correction.....I meant SE Washington and it was taken between Walla Walla and Milton Freewater on private ground and taken on the Oregon side.  I thought it was on his ranch but it wasn't.

Lol- the title is a bit misleading then.

Not surprised to see them in that area, there are a few packs established and more on the way down there

It's always a good point that wolves are on there way there,and have been seen and documented in the area.


According to Oregon most of there wolf population is in the northeast corner, I'm sure wolves know about state lines. :chuckle:

Knowing the locals in Klickitat county I don’t think wolves would find a welcome mat there.
