Bummer to have something so cool that you can't hunt with.

Looks like some grey area that will need to be addressed. It's a range finder, just a super pimp one that auto adjusts your pin...

Using night vision and laser sights
(WAC 220-414-010):
It is illegal to hunt deer or elk with the aid
of infrared night vision equipment or with
laser sights (not to include range finders)
capable of projecting a beam onto the
target, while in possession or control of a
firearm, bow and arrow, or crossbow.

I'll consent it breaks this one though...

. It is unlawful to have any electrical
equipment or electric device(s) except
for illuminated nocks, attached to the
bow or arrow while hunting.

It's clearly illegal in Washington.

Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I don't understand why they are not legal. A lot of bow guys want to be able to make the cleanest precise kill possible. Having a better tool to range and aim on a moving live target makes a lot of sense and would result in less lost animals.
