Looks like some grey area that will need to be addressed. It's a range finder, just a super pimp one that auto adjusts your pin...

Using night vision and laser sights
(WAC 220-414-010):
It is illegal to hunt deer or elk with the aid
of infrared night vision equipment or with
laser sights (not to include range finders)
capable of projecting a beam onto the
target, while in possession or control of a
firearm, bow and arrow, or crossbow.

I don't understand why they are not legal. A lot of bow guys want to be able to make the cleanest precise kill possible. Having a better tool to range and aim on a moving live target makes a lot of sense and would result in less lost animals.
