« on: February 12, 2018, 10:27:19 PM »
What’s going on guys? I am new to this all (last season was first season ever)  i had a blast this past season and want to get the children into it (3,6 and 8) I want to take them shed hunting but have no clue where to start or a place that I can take kids and don’t have to run em up the mountains. If anyone has a spot that’s not well known to many please DM or know of a spot please let me know. Your secrets my secret hahha just wanna get the kids into something I ever got to do but now really enjoy. Thanks

Take them to the desert unit flat ground lots of area to cover and even if they don't find bone at least they will have a good time seeing deer

If you come over to Moses, and have a boat, go island hopping on Pot Holes, you'd be surprised at what you find and/or see. A lot of animals there.
Is it waterfowl season yet..............

The west side of west medical lake has some relatively flat, wooded areas for exploring.
I know there are turkeys and some deer that hang out close by.
Park at the marina launch and circle (hike)  around to get to the other side.

You can get into some good spots off Dodson Road right off I 90, couple of places to pull of and park in.
