I like to use these threads as a means of journaling my hunts and experiences year to year. Sorry to keep adding to it but figured I’d add a few more pics relative to the hunt. Itll be a while before my mount is done so I had Bugs n Bones do a euro for now. Sorry if the pics are annoying.

How bout an update on the meat prep and recipes you've tried so far. How does it eat??

Well... I hate to say I haven't eaten any of it yet, but I haven't.  I did slice a few chunks off when I was butchering and threw them in a fry pan with some salt and pepper. Wanted to see how it tasted. Tasted good...more gamey tasting than deer normally tastes and tougher, but it wasn't backstrap. I ground everything up except for the backstraps. I plan to cook some of those up soon.
