Any Tractor collectors or aficionado's here??
« on: February 03, 2018, 08:45:16 PM »
Any tractor collectors or aficionado's on the forum.  I have a few interesting tractors that I would like to know more about.  Also would like to know of any museums in Washington that may want them on display.  A quick google search shows a museum in Garfield county and one in Centralia.  Anyone have any experience with either of these museums?

Rumely oil pull and a John deer steel wheel.  I can post pics tomorrow.

I have a couple of old  cat D 2s  but getting older than that requires some time up in Lynden at the steam powered  expo.

Tag for the pics.  What year & model numbers are they?  I was big into stationary farm equipment, didn't have roon for the tractors.

Nice rigs man. An early model D and I don't know what the Rumely is - but it's a sweetheart.

@Johnvh bought an engine when I auctioned off my family's collection a few years back,  I think he's plugged into the scene.

The Ag museum in pomeroy is pretty awesome. Mtncook is involved with them in some capacity. Not sure how knowledgeable he is with the tractors but he knows his way around the museum and the 4 legged horsepower pulling machines.

I have done a little research on this museum and it looks awesome.  We would really like to move these tractors closer to home so our kids can visit them and enjoy them throughout the years.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Thanks Josh for getting me on board.

Yes the Eastern Washington Ag Museum is right down my road.  There have been many donations of complete and partial collections.  We prefer restored pieces which these are nicely done.  PM me a phone number and I can put you in touch with the big iron guys if interested.
