Field Photo - Something Different
« on: January 16, 2018, 08:23:06 AM »
Made this last night from my field photo from this season. It is laser engraved into a piece of MDF (used MDF because it’s cheap to test on). I thought it turned out pretty cool so I thought I’d share.

Pretty cool.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

Are you capable to engrave onto anything?

I can do pretty much anything except bare metal.

I am currently working on getting set up as a site sponsor, as I am just getting going on this.

I wonder if you had a sheet of aluminum that was anodized or painted black then engraved on that how it would turn out. Or cerakoted metal engraved on

I can do metal as long as it is anodized or similar coating. I haven’t laid a photo on metal yet, but I’ll have to see if I can get ahold of a piece to try it.

Nice... Is there a size limit of a photo or what you can transfer it to? How deep or shallow can you in grave?
I was thinking more of a mirror or glass.

Biggest size piece I can engrave is 18”x24” and I can do glass. The photo posted above is 5”x7”, and how big you can go would be similar to printing it. The better Quality the photo, the bigger you can size it for Engraving.
