Have you ever fished any of the smaller lakes around Potholes?  Do the walleye inhabit those too or are those shallow bass/trout lakes?

Ive fished a few of them, where my boat is allowed....Most of them are loaded with Bass, both smallmouth and large, crappie, bluegill, perch....The Goose lakes are decent for Walleye but I haven't been there in at least 5-6 years. If you call Mardon, they can give you some updated information on those , I think Soda was decent back in the day also. If you live in Tri Cities, I would be out there right now if I were you.. Shoot me A PM and Ill get you some additional information...

If you want to learn where to fish in the summer on Soda,Long and Crescent Lake, and Scootney Resevoir for that matter, go take a look at them right now while the water is low. They will tell you their secrets. Take a camera.

I havnt caught a walleye in Upper Goose in a number of years now. I do catch Rainbows regularly and in fact limited out last fall on the 11-13 inch variety. Ive never had much luck at Lower Goose but my neighbor says hes caught lots of bass in there.

Yea I am getting a small boat as a present and wanted to check out some of the lakes around there.  Just kinda planning some spring fever trips and maybe a weekend getaway in the summer when its cool on the West side of the mountains.  I grew up in Minnesota hammering walleyes but haven't fished them in years, but I am always a sucker for bass fishing.  Trying to figure out a good lake to start with anyways.
