I somehow managed to mistakenly draw a 3rd season OTC bull tag. I was awarded my preference point but got a hit on my CC for $661. I must have inadvertently checked a box when applying and they must have automatically awarded me the OTC tag. I'm already fishing in Mexico in September, hunting antelope in Wyoming in October and pheasant hunting in South Dakota in November, so my fall is pretty booked already not to mention the OIL tag I'm going to pull here. Anyways how does the refund process work as Colorado doesn't fit in this year's plans for me?

Just go to their website for instructions, but I think it’s fairly easy to return a tag.

When do they usually start mailing tags where I can return my otc elk tag for a refund?

Have you tried calling them to see if they could work with you prior to mailing it?
