First & Second Bobcat of Season
« on: January 24, 2018, 05:02:40 PM »
This is my very first bobcat ever for my first year trapping in the video a nice 15 pound female.  The second cat I caught in the same trap three days later it was a 14 pound bobcat for my second cat of this season.  Very exciting for my first year trapping.  I attached the movie and its not showing up I think you have download it.

Way to go!

In that first picture it looks like entrails as part of the bait.  Was that bait put in whole?

Yes sir I put a full beaver in there.  It was sitting in there for about a month before the trap finally got hit.

Thank you Trapper John and everyone its very exciting.  I have over 20 cat traps now really hoping this weather would get cooler so they start producing.  I set a goal for five cats for my first year, one being a nice Tom.  Lets see how it goes:-)
