Up in the NE corner of WA near the Idaho and Canadian boarders. Still in trapping from 12” to 4’ of snow but it’s been in mid 30s so not making for fun conditions.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Very nice wish we would get some snow down here instead of this hot rainy crap weather makes it hard to even catch a cold.

I’ve always wondered if a cougar would try to go into one of our bobcat boxes. My dad and I were out checking the line today we had this guy stick his nose into one of the boxes last night. I think his foot was 1/2 as wide as the opening on the box  :chuckle: It warmed up last night/today so there’s a little melt in this track but it is a HUGE CAT. I’m a really big guy and the tracks make my hand look small.

Wait 'till you are stumbling around in the dark looking for a trap you know a bear has made off with and all you have is that .22.

Really common to have cougars steal the bait out of my cat cages, ho hum.

That is a monster track though.

I see tracks all the time but this track was huge! I’ve had bears in AK destroy my line. I know we will be checking the line now with more than a 22.

Looking at the WDFW cougar quota's appears 113 could still be open.

The line has been really slow lately with the weather. Moving things around a bit to see if a new area might help. :P
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me
