Field Trials in 2018?
« on: November 10, 2017, 12:04:54 PM »
Anybody know where I can get a schedule of field trails for 2018 (WA/ID/OR) I'm interested in watching as well as volunteering. Future gwp owner looking to get some experience in the sport...thanks!

Northwest Pointing Dog Association on Facebook would be a good place to start.

Make sure you look into NAVHDA and check out some of their event's (hunt test's) as well. I really like the Treasure Valley chapter.

Not many Test have been scheduled for 2018 yet but pretty soon.

Lead em if they're running.

Where is your wirehair coming from?

AKC will have options for you as well, usually broken down into breed clubs; Visla club,GWP club, shorthair club, etc. If you search 'walking field trials' or 'pointing breed field trials' you will come up with plenty of material to read.

and there is NSTRA: http://www.nstra.org/
