New Leupold 3-9x40 Scopes on eBay for $114
« on: January 24, 2018, 01:14:16 PM »
Great deal on eBay if you hurry. It's $142.69 with free shipping, then eBay has a 20% off code you can use to bring it down to $114.15.

Not fake. Look at the seller's feedback and location. I've purchased at least one Leupold scope from the same seller a year or two ago.

The price isn't even that unbelievably low. It's the 20% discount that really makes it a good deal. You can buy the same scope from Optics Planet right now for $170.

I'm guessing there could be more low prices like this until they run out of the VX-1 and VX-2 scopes, now that Leupold isn't making them anymore. But I doubt you'd ever get one for less than $114.

Thanks.  Picked up 2.   Bought 1 and the went back and bought another.  coupon worked twice for me.  Don't know what I need them for but I guess something will come along.

Did the same thing.  Got one for me and one for Kenny.  He KO'd his vortex on our cougar hunt.

Well now they apparently have the "Freedom" to replace the VX-1 and VX-2.

Leupold's a great glass, just be super careful on EBay.

Chinese counterfeits are flooding EBay for great prices, but they are scrap junk with no lifetime warranty like a real Leupold does.  EBay encourages this crap by not shutting the sellers down regardless of complaints.

See link below for an example.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Leupold-VX-III-4-5-14x40-Rifle-Scope-Reticle-Duplex-HD-Glass-Finish-Matte-Black/112881293695?hash=item1a483fd97f:g:0BYAAOSwa2Zakuud

What brought this to my attention was a coworker who's wife thought she got him a great deal on a VX-III Leupold only to find it was little better than a kids toy.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.
