Some Weird Euro's! (BlackRiver Taxidermy)
« on: January 28, 2018, 08:24:37 AM »
Coming in the home stretch to completion of around 300 euros this year....thought I'd post a few pics of some of the weird and abnormal antlers. The big elk is a local bull (SW Washington) and measured out at 53" across! All the deer are blacktails! Congrats to the hunters on some unique trophies.

I like antlers like that more. Was hoping two years ago to connect with a fork whitetail with an antler growing almost straight down but couldn't find him during season. Very cool thanks for sharing.

Any chance you know if the elk with deformed anlters had hoof rot or not?  I've noticed a lot of hoof rot bulls will have a funky antler on the opposite side from their hoof rot.

Nope, no hoof rot on that animal per the hunter.
