Bohning Blazer Fletching Jig....
« on: March 08, 2009, 08:37:29 PM »
Bought the Bohning fletching jig for 2" Blazer vanes and just thought I would share how well it works.  It puts a nice 3 degree helix on the Blazers and is super easy to use.  Vanes turned out looking and flying really sweet.

Nicely done!  What type of glue are you using on your blazers?

I'm using Maxi-Cure cyanoacrylate.  It's really strong and sets up super fast.  I haven't lost a vane because of the glue failing in the 2 years I have been using it.

I got it off ebay.  There are several ebay stores selling them.

Good post, LD. I'm ready for a change myself. I've been using the same AZ EZ Fletch for almost 20 years. It's okay, but now that I'm shooting carbons and 2" blazers, I'd like an updated setup. I'll be at Cabela's over the next couple weeks. I'll check it out.
May the morning silence be broken with the wisp of vanes trailing blades to their mark.
