This is already how our Wenaha is shaping up with all our “I’m 100% in! I’ve got the points to draw, I just haven’t ever done a backpack hunt, if you can help, I’ll put in there.”

Funny cause it's true
KCCO

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.

Basically people wanting us to take them into the Wenaha because we have an epically great time, and are getting pretty decent at killing bears in there.

Make lots of promises, we gave dates last summer, then 2 days before draw ends, they back out.

It’s pretty standard fair to be honest.

I’m less then surprised.

Usually the second to third week. The last time I got selected I received my permit in the mail the week before the season opened.
