I just picked up a model 70 in 7X57 mauser and I am stoked. Beautiful rifle and a cartridge I've had an interest in for some time. I will post pics later.

Nice rifle, nice cartridge. I load for the 7x57, its lower recoil and can easily take anything in the state. or the lower 48. Think I'd want more horsepower for big bears...but Bell did
