Sure are cute little buggers, my cousin and I watched a pair play one time up by these old beaver ponds and it was one of the funniest things I ever seen, like watching bear cubs at a bait station back in the day !!!
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"

I killed a mule deer in snow and a white weasel got to the dead buck before I did.  As I approached he bristled up, claimed the deer as his own and threatened me -- a creature several hundred times his weight and carrying a 30-06.  They are ferocious for their size and we are fortunate that they are not as big as a mountain lion with that aggressive temperament!

cool story, that little guy gave me a lot of time to get a few pictures.
He was pretty curious and kept ducking in and out of the rocks checking me out before he took off.

Some well known bio or scientist once said that if weasels were 60 lbs, they would drive all the animals and birds of the world into extinction.
