Chokes and loads

I know that testing is the only real way to find the tightest load for my shotgun but what's the general consensus on choke tubes and loads? I have 870's btw
nuke the gray whales for jesus!

I favor the nice uniform pattern of IC.  It generally performs well with any size steel shot.

I did not see this was in the Turkey Hunting forum.  My advice is for ducks.

Indian Creek or Jebs or Sumtoy and Carlson’s. Waiting for my dad to get back from vacation so I can pickup and pattern my 20ga with my Carlson’s choke with the TSS 9’s.

I use several different shotguns and I've found FULL choke with either 3" # 4 duck loads ( which I have plenty of ) work well or Ive got some old 2 3/4" 1 1/2 oz 4's is devastating. Try different chokes and loads to find out what your shotgun shoots the best on a pattering board. Good luck

I shoot a longbeard xr with hevi shot magnum blend in 3 1/2"
You would be happy with that choke and the xr shells its designed for.  Patterns great our of my gun.  I shoot a sx3
