Thanks i a have Winchester 1885 highwall in .375 H&H. When i got the rifle i was reading up on the history of the cartridge i remembered that they released a rimmed or "flanged"  version at the same time.Your box of primers gave a good size reference also.

out of curiosity would the correct answer be .375 flanged nitro express mag. since it is the neck down version of the .375 flanged mag.?the .375 flanged mag. 2.5 is not necked down.

It's left over from a Searcy double that I did load work for.

Rifle had three sets of barrels. The other set was .470 nitro. Pic is with a loaded .470
