Wet Side Gun Give Away Banquet
« on: February 05, 2018, 11:45:46 PM »
I have recently been named Chairman of Skagit Friends of NRA, a completely volunteer organization aimed at  raising funds for youth programs like Hunter Safety, The YES program and Eddie the Eagle. I will be hosting a fundraising banquet in Mount Vernon on 27 April which you are all invited to. We will be raffling off more guns than you can shake a stick at as well as prizes ranging from guided hunts and fishing trips to custom furniture and art.  Silent auction, raffles, dinner and a live auction, it will be a great time.

I've already ordered $10,000 in guns to give away at the event. They are trickling into my FFL this week.

I will have a booth this weekend at the WAC gun show in Monroe where I will be selling raffle tickets for our reload raffle. The reload raffle gives you a chance to win up to 3 guns without having to attend the banquet.

Ask Josh to meet up with you he is in the Arlington area, he will be at the Monroe WAC show this weekend selling tickets.
When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.

-do you have to be NRA member to go?
-by give away guns do you mean via the raffle or some are just given to random attendees separate from the ones won via raffle?
-how much will raffle tickets be (also is there a limit or raffle tickets bought and I’m assuming the raffle tickets are separate from the entry fee)

Thanks in advance

No membership is necessary. We are not the NRA. Our funds go to youth programs, not rich lawyers.

Guns will be be given out as prizes in raffles and in chance based games. Your entry ticket does put you in for a door prize.

The Reload raffle and the games will have a limited number of entry oppourtunities. The straight bucket raffles will have no limit. Bucket raffle tickets will have three levels of price (10, 20, 50$ individual purchase price) and will also be available for sale discounted into a package price. For instance, the $200 raffle ticket package gives you $370 worth of raffle tickets and an entry ticket.
