One of the only sheds I have ever found on the piece of land I deer hunt.  I know they're out there, but the grass makes it nearly impossible to find them. 
Worst part is; I buckled it to my pack, killed a deer an hour later, and when I took off my pack it was gone... :bash: :bash:

At least you got the buck but that sucks to hear. I go right after the snow is gone which helps with some of the grass. Especially if you go when all the grass is green, they stick out.

Busted a Blacktail while walking through the woods three days ago; he was a nice three point but was still packin' both sides.

Walked the same path today and found this. Looks like his and it's fresh. It'll be my last shed for '18 and I'm hoping the other side is the first for '19.
